Bases de la convocatoria
2. FECHA DE RECEPCIÓN: Desde el 10 de mayo de 2020 hasta el 31 de Agosto de 2020, estará dividido en tres deadlines: Early Deadline (del 10 de mayo hasta el 20 de mayo), Regular Deadlines (Del 21 de mayo al 15 de agosto) y Extended Deadline(del 16 de agosto hasta el 31 de agosto).
3. FECHA DE NOTIFICACIÓN DE SELECCIÓN OFICIAL: La selección oficial será revelada el día 30 de Septiembre a las 6:00 PM(GMT: -5) junto con los Aliados, Jueces, lugares de proyección, Socios y patrocinadores por medio de un Live Stream en la página de Facebook y YouTube y un hilo en Twitter con detalles de cada uno de las películas participantes.
4. CATEGORÍAS Y COSTOS DEL CERTAMEN: El FESTIVAL se dividirá en las siguientes categoría
- Feature Film(Live Action, Animated and Documentary): Early Deadline: 5 USD. Regular Deadline: 5 USD. Extended Deadline: 10 USD.
- Short Film (Animated): Early Deadline: 2.5 USD. Regular Deadline: 3 USD. Extended Deadline: 5 USD.
- Short Film (Live Action): Early Deadline: 2.5 USD. Regular Deadline: 3 USD, Extended Deadline: 5 USD.
- Short Film (Documentary): Early Deadline: 2.5 USD. Regular Deadline: 3 USD, Extended Deadline: 5 USD.
- Video Clip (Live Action or Animated): Early Deadline: 2.5 USD. Regular Deadline: 3 USD. Extended Deadline: 5 USD.
- National Film(Long or Short): Early Deadline: 0 USD. Regular Deadline: 3 USD. Extended Deadline: 5 USD.
Si el equipo de curadores o los jurados consideran que una película presentada encaja más en una categoría diferente a la que se ha presentado, podrán moverla sin previo aviso y no se aceptaran reclamos de los participantes.
5. OBRAS PARTICIPANTES: Podrán participar películas de todo el mundo. Si la película está en inglés o un idioma diferente al español se requieren subtítulos en español. Si la película está en español no se requerirá nada adicional. Se le dará prioridad a los estrenos nacionales, continentales y mundiales al momento de hacer la selección Oficial, sin embargo no es requisito no haber sido estrenados en Colombia. Las Películas serán publicadas en la plataforma de IndyOn.TV durante el tiempo de la FESTIVAL y cada película será proyectada en un evento físico por lo menos una vez.6. DURACIÓN:
- Cortometrajes: Obras desde 1 minuto hasta 35 minutos máximo (incluyendo créditos).
- Largometrajes: Obras desde 36 minutos en adelante sin límite de tiempo.
8. ENVÍO DE LAS OBRAS: Para el envío de obras se deberá subir el archivo digital de la película en alta definición (.MOV, .MP4, compresión H.264 o ProRes 422) a una plataforma virtual(Dropbox, PCloud, Google Drive, ETC…) y enviar vía email el enlace de descarga. A su vez en el correo deberá anexar el documento donde el FESTIVAL tiene el derecho de exhibición de su material.
9. RECONOCIMIENTO: Se hará entrega de reconocimientos oficiales (certificación de Selección Oficial) a las obras seleccionadas de cada categoría después de ser anunciadas, se enviaran los laureles correspondientes para los Press kit y póster, así mismo después de terminado el FESTIVAL se entregará un diploma certificando su participación en el FESTIVAL.
10. REQUERIMIENTOS: A parte del archivo de video en alta calidad, se requiere un Press Kit básico(Póster, 5 fotogramas de la película, Banner, Fotografía del director, Trailer). En caso de quedar seleccionado, el postulante deberá colocar los laureles del FESTIVAL en el póster y banner.
11. CONDICIONES DE PARTICIPACIÓN: Por el hecho de realizar la inscripción, los responsables de las películas clasificadas en la Selección Oficial, aceptan que sus películas se exhiban en las diferentes actividades enmarcadas en el desarrollo de el FESTIVAL en su edición 2020. Así como utilizar extractos de imágenes de las películas para fines promocionales del FESTIVAL a través de medios de comunicación. El material enviado no será devuelto y pasará a formar parte del archivo del FESTIVAL. El FESTIVAL no se hace responsable de posibles infracciones relacionadas a derechos de autor, siendo éstas responsabilidad de quien inscribe la obra. Los gastos de envío para la inscripción de las obras serán de responsabilidad de los participantes. El FESTIVAL es no competitivo.
12. JURADO: El jurado se compondrá por cineastas especializados de todo el país, el jurado se dará a conocer el 30 de septiembre con el anuncio de la selección oficial del FESTIVAL. El jurado decidirá los ganadores de cada categoría principal así como los ganadores de las categorías técnicas. La decisión del jurado será inapelable.
Call Terms
1. DATE AND PLACE OF CONTEST: From 1 to 7 of November of 2020, in IndyOn.Tv platform and in the city of Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
2. DATE OF RECEPTION: From 10 of May of 2020 until 31 of August of 2020, it will be split into three Deadlines; Early Deadline (from 10 of May until 20 of May), Regular Deadlines (From 21 of May until 15 of August) and Extended Deadline(from 16 of August Until 31 of August).
3. DATE OF NOTIFICATION OF THE OFFICIAL SELECTION: The Official Selection of the Showcase will be reveal the day 30 of September at 6:00 PM(GMT: -5) with the allies, judges, screening sites(of having them), partners and sponsors by a live stream on the fan page on facebook, youtube channel and a twitter thread with the details of each one of the films in competition

If the curator’s team or the jury consider then a film presented fits more in a different category from the one presented, they can move it without notice, and claims from participants will not be accepted.
5. PARTICIPATING WORKS: Films from around the world can participate. If the film is in English or a different language it is required Spanish subtitles. If the movie is in Spanish will be not required the subtitles. Priority will be given to National, Continental, and Worldwide releases at the moment of make the official selection. However, it isn’t a requirement not to have been released in Colombia. The Films will be published in the Platform IndyOn.Tv at the time of the Film Festival and every Film will have a minimum projection in a physical.
6. DURATION:
- Short Films: Works from 1 minute until 35 minutes length (Including credits).
- Feature Films: Works over 36 minutes without a time limit.
7. INSCRIPTION: The postulants must enter in FestHome or ClickForFestivals and fill in the inscription correspondent.
8. SENDING OF WORKS; For the sending of works, you must upload the digital copy of the film in high definition (.MOV, .MP4, Compressor H.264 or ProRes 422) a virtual cloud (Dropbox, iCloud, Google Drive, etc..) and send for email the link of download. At the same time, you must append the document where you give permission for an exhibition of your work
9. RECOGNITION: There will be a delivery of officials recognitions (certificates of Official Selection) to the selected works in every category after being announced, the laurels will be sent for the press kits and posters, likewise after of finished the film FESTIVAL, a certified gonna be send for your participation in the FESTIVAL.
10. REQUIREMENTS: Apart from the High Definition video, it required a basic press kit(Poster, 5 frames of the film, banner, photograph of the director, trailer). In case of being selected, the postulant must put the laurel of the FESTIVAL in the poster and banner.
11. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. For the fact of making the inscription, the filmmakers of the movies chosen to be official selection accept than their films will be exhibited in the different activities framed in the development of the FESTIVAL in the 2020 edition. As well as using extracts of images from the films for promotional purposes of the FESTIVAL through the media. The sent material doesn’t be returned and going to pass on being part of the FESTIVAL LIBRARY. The FESTIVAL doesn’t be responsible for infractions related to copyright, being this responsibility of who sends the work. The Film Festival will be not competitive.
12. THE JURY: The Jury will be composed for specialized filmmakers, The jury will be announced on the 30 of September with the announcement of the Official Selection of the festival. The Jury will choose the winners of every major category, as well as the winner of the technical categories. The choice of the jury will be unappealable.
